How to Run a GBP Report?

This guide will walk you through running your first GBP audit. STEP 1: To run a GBP audit report in-app, click on the New Audit button on the Audit Dashboard. OR You can use our Chrome extension. Before you begin, please ensure you have our Google Chrome extension installed from here. Once installed, you can launch it from the Chrome Extension menu. We recommend pinning our extension. To run a GBP audit using our Chrome extension: Launch the extension, log in if needed, and click on the Run Audit button to begin. STEP 2: A screen with all available reports will appear. Select the type of audit you want to run. We will choose Google Business Profile (GBP) Audit in this example. STEP 3: Enter the company name for which you want to perform the audit and click Add. You can also pick a company if you already ran an audit for them from the select existing company/organization dropdown. STEP 4: Enter the contact information. This step is optional. You can keep the fields blank and click on the Next button. STEP 5: Enter the necessary information to perform the audit. Primary Service Area – Usually where the company is located or is focusing its advertising towards. Usually where the company is located or is focusing its advertising towards. Distance Between Grid Points – We analyze the local company or organization rankings within the specified area provided using data grids. You can choose how many [miles/kilometers] are between each grid point—the larger the value, the larger the area analyzed, and the less granular the results. – We analyze the local company or organization rankings within the specified area provided using data grids. You can choose how many [miles/kilometers] are between each grid point—the larger the value, the larger the area analyzed, and the less granular the results. Keyword or Keyword Phrase – The primary keyword or keyword phrase they would ideally want to rank for. If you don’t know it, pick a keyword that describes the product or service the company offers. This is optional also. Once done filling out the information, click the Next button. Please note: You can add up to 3 keywords by clicking on the + plus button. STEP 6: If you would like our app to use AI and generate actionable insights for your client’s Google Business Profile, click on the toggle button to enable AI Insights. Otherwise, you can keep the toggle Off and click on the next button. STEP 7: Next, you can determine, if you would like to analyze the company’s GBP profile or not. To analyze the GBP profile, click on the toggle to turn it ON. STEP 8: If you have access to the client’s GBP profile, you can connect your Gsuite account with My Web Audit and connect the GBP profile for the audit. Click on the toggle button to enable the GBP insights. Otherwise, you can keep the toggle Off and click on the next button. STEP 9: This is the step where you decide whether to run the audit with just the automated points or include a manual assessment as part of the report. Including it only takes a few minutes and significantly increases the value of the report and your chance of closing the sale. If you only want to include the automated audit points, click the Run Audit button in the sidebar and wait for our app to notify you that the audit is ready. It usually takes less than 3-5 minutes to run the automated analysis. In this guide, we will run through the manual assessment as well. Clicking on the Begin Manual Assessment button will redirect you to the website you are auditing and automatically open our extension so you can perform the manual assessment. (please make sure that you have our Google Chrome extension installed). Clicking on the Begin Manual Assessment button will redirect you to the Google business profile and open our extension so you can verify and perform the manual assessment. Important: It’s critical to note that all the points you see in the right sidebar require manual review & verification by you. You can do so by clicking on the toggle button for the audit point. STEP 10: Click the left side of the toggle button to mark the audit point as FAILED and the right side of the toggle button to mark the audit point as PASSED. A reset button will appear once the toggle button is clicked, so if you wish to reset the status, you can click on the reset icon. If a manual audit point is not marked as passed or failed, that audit point will not be visible on the report for your client. We’ve provided this feature for users who run an audit, deem a specific audit point unimportant or irrelevant, and don’t want it included in their report. If you wish to continue the audit later, click the Close button. Otherwise, you can click on the Save button. Note: The audit will never be emailed to anyone during this step. You will then be redirected to the dashboard, where the loader will appear for a few minutes till the audit is completed. Your next step should be to review the audit results and then use one of our done-for-you email templates to connect with your prospect or customer. Once the audit is complete, you can view, download, or email the audit report. Please click here to read more about the different download formats available for the audit. Remember to deliver value before you sell. So unless you are slammed with leads and business, offer a strategy call or a free consultation session to cover the points you have uncovered vs. just emailing it over.
