Native Integrations — Integrate ConvertKit | MWA Live

The purpose of this guide is to explain the process of how to integrate My Web Audit’s lead widgets with ConverKit. STEP 1: Create a new lead widget or edit an existing lead widget. Visit the Integrations tab and click on the Add Integration button. STEP 2: Search for ConvertKit and click on the Add button. STEP 3: Get the API secret from the ConvertKit account. STEP 3.1: Login to your ConvertKit account STEP 3.2: Click on the top right profile name and then click on the settings option. STEP 3.3: Click on the advance option at the bottom of the settings section, then copy the secret key. STEP 4: Enter the account name and API secret, then click on the connect account button. STEP 5: After successfully connecting your ConvertKit account, you will be redirected to the next screen, where you can complete the integration. Please note: You will be required to select a Sequence list in the next step. If you do not have any lists under your ConvertKit account, see the steps defined below on how to create a new list in ConvertKit. STEP 5.1: Click on the Send menu, then click on the Sequences. STEP 5.2: Click the New sequence button. STEP 6: Select a sequence from the dropdown list. STEP 7: Next, map the fields. Our app allows you to store the Website URL and Report URL. If you do not see the fields to map, you can create custom fields under your ConvertKit account. Please see the steps defined below. STEP 7.1: Click on Grow -> Subscribers. STEP 7.2: Edit any contact and then click on the Add a new field link. You can add the fields as needed for Website URL, Report URL and other fields you want to map in My Web Audit. STEP 8: Select the Website URL and Report URL fields from the dropdown. STEP 9: If you have enabled GDPR fields on your lead widget form, you will be able to map the fields for GDPR consent. STEP 10: If you have enabled the Custom Fields on your lead widget form, you will see the option to map them as well. STEP 11: Click on the Connect to Convert Kit button.
