MWA Live - Audits

Presentation View vs Detailed View

Our reports come in a couple of different views that you can use to present to your leads/customers. The purpose of this guide is to provide information on when we recommend using the Report view vs. Presentation view on your audit report. The Presentation view is ideal when presenting your reports to your prospects or customers during a call or even as a quick video to send them. This is because you can navigate from one slide to another showcasing exactly what is wrong with their website without overwhelming them with too much detail. This is an excellent way for them to quickly understand the problem and how you can be the solution. This layout is similar to what you’d see if you exported a report in a PowerPoint format, which is only available on the Agency plan. is ideal when presenting your reports to your prospects or customers during a call or even as a quick video to send them. This view is ideal when a client asks for an audit report as part of a paid deliverable or you want to showcase more details vs. less. This shows them the entirety of the report in an easy-to-understand and professional-looking document that they can use as a reference and go through at their own pace. This layout is similar to what you’d seen if you exported a report in a PDF format. For most of the audits, the default report layout is set to Presentation View. This means that if you or your client were to open the report link the report would open in that view. To change the default report layout, please follow the steps defined below. STEP 1: You can change the default report view for a specific audit you’ve already run. Go to your Audit Dashboard, , and click on Customize Report icon for that specific audit report. If you’d like to change the default report view for all website audits for example you can go to the Report Builder, hover over the Report template for website audits, and click on Customize. STEP 2: Click on the Report Settings. STEP 3: Select Report View or Presentation View from the drop-down menu and click the Save button. Changes on the audit level vs. report template Would you like to change this setting for a specific audit report you’ve run instead of on the report template level that applies to all future audits using the report template? If so, you can follow the same steps outlined above by finding the audit from the dashboard, customizing it, and navigating to the settings screen of your audit. Changes made to a report template automatically apply to all future reports that use the template. Changes to settings for a specific audit will only apply to that audit report. Please note: The presentation view is only available for the following audit reports: Website Audit Landing page Audit E-commerce Audit Google Business Profile Audit Accessibility Audit If you have any questions, please click here to see how we can help.
